Bulgaria plans to introduce a new digital platform aimed at helping businesses identify export opportunities and supporting staff in the Commercial and Economic Affairs Services (CEAS), Economy and Industry Minister Petar Dilov said.
“The ministry will make every effort to implement the ‘Bulgarian Export Navigator’ (BEN) and ensure it is as useful as possible,” he added.
The platform was developed by the Ministry of Economy and Industry, with the support of a team from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It is expected to help Bulgarian companies enter new markets for goods and services, as well as reinforce their presence in existing ones.
BEN, the first platform of its kind in Europe, includes three main modules: trade – with key market information and export opportunities; export financing and insurance; and economic information – featuring analyses of the economy, sector reports, and forecasts.
